NARRATIVE
On February 25, 2026, at approximately 12:15 PM to 12:20 PM, I was driving southbound on Talbot Road South toward the
emergency room because my sister was feeling ill and required transportation for medical attention.
As we proceeded southbound through the intersection at South 177th Street, we had a green traffic signal. While lawfully
traveling through the intersection, a vehicle exited a nearby parking lot, disregarded the red light, and struck the passenger
side of my vehicle.
After the collision, the suspect vehicle fled the scene at a high rate of speed. Due to safety concerns, I did not attempt to
pursue the vehicle.
The nearby hospital, Valley Medical Center, may have exterior surveillance cameras covering the intersection or surrounding
roadways.
Additionally, Puget Sound Cooperative Credit Union, located near the intersection, may have exterior security cameras that
could have captured the incident or the suspect vehicle before or after the collision.
