Renton Case#26-2039
On 03/24/2026 at 1729 hours I was dispatched to the intersection of Main Ave S/Bronson Way S, in the City of
Renton, King County, Washington. I was responding to a call of a non-injury, non-blocking accident. This
incident was captured on my body worn video camera.This report is a summation of events that
occurred and is not an exact sequence of events.
At approximately 1731 hours, I arrived on scene located the two involved vehicles. Both Unit 1 and Unit 2
vehicles had moved off the roadway and parked in the parking lot of Sherwin Williams, located at 206
Wells Ave S.
I identified Unit 1 as a 1997 Ford F250(WA LIC#B25399W) being driven by the owner of the vehicle,
identified by his WA DL as Lewis W Palmer(DOB 08/28/1986).
Unit 1 driver told me he was not injured. I asked Unit 1 driver what happened, he stated had been traveling
southbound on Bronson Way S in the number 1 lane of travel,just north of Main Ave S. Once at the
intersection, Unit 1 driver stated he attempted to turn westbound on S 2nd St, around Unit 2 vehicle which
was directly next to him and continuing to travel southbound onto Main Ave S. While trying to turn in front of
Unit 2 vehicle, Unit 1 collided with the front of Unit 2 vehicle.
Unit 1 driver provided me with his WA DL, registration and proof of insurance.
I observed minor damage to the rear passenger side bumper of Unit 1 vehicle.
I identified Unit 2 as a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee (WA LIC#CFJ3741) being driven by the registered owner,
identified by his WA DL as Bruno E Soto (DOB 06/30/1995).
Unit 2 driver stated he was uninjured. I asked Unit 2 driver what happened, he stated he was traveling
southbound on Bronson Way S in the number 2 lane of travel.At the intersection of Bronson Way S/Main Ave
S, Unit 2 driver said that Unit 1 vehicle turned in front of him from the number 1 lane of travel, striking the
front of his vehicle.
I observed damage to the front of Unit 2 vehicle.
This incident occurred in the sCity of Renton,King County,Washington State.

Unit 2 driver provided me with his WA DL, registration but was unable to provide me with current vehicle
insurance. Unit 2 driver stated he had insurance through COSTCO, however he did not have a current
insurance card.
Photographs of both vehicles were taken at the scene, along with the sustained vehicle damage to each unit.
All photos were later uploaded to Axon Evidence. All observed damage was consistent with the version of
events provided both Unit 1 and Unit 2 drivers.
I provided each involved unit with a business card, case number and answered their remaining questions.
I then cleared the scene.
This ends my report.
