Environmental Weekly Meeting Minutes

Submittals
Sanitary Sewer Authorization approved by City of Renton.
Ashley has the word doc from Alyssa and will convert to PDF to make the check marks that are missing.
Trucking Plan – Cameron will be submitting
Site Specific Waste Management Plan – In Shimmick Court
Tree protection – Revision in Atlas’s court
Soil Management Plan – Need to research spec, may not be needed for this project.
Binder for Environmental Compliance Management Plans
Qualification on professional wetland scientist. Are there any wetlands on site? Is 167 area wetland or floodplain? (Cameron)
Alyssa can look into this.

SWPPP revisions resubmitted last week – Sound Transit court

Mistie Hammer from Sound Transit performing bird survey today 3/13.
Valid for 7 days.
Ashley reached out to Ecology about getting authorization to submit February’s DMR.
Shimmick/Ashley putting together letter of delegation to complete the hard copy ESAF needed.
IT issue, not able to record turbidity, only pH. Ashley in touch with help desk at ecology.

The 3/4 batch 1 sample came back with one parameter over the discharge limit
2-Butanone resulted in 5.1 ug/L, the limit is 5.0 ug/L.
Watertectonics reran the batch through the carbon at a slower flow to allow for more absorption time. Encore collected a new sample for batch 1 “retest” on 3/10. Results should come
any time.
Batch 1 retest good. Copper missed on the test, revised report coming today. 250GPM flow rate at test.
Test 2 Monday Mid-morning
Emergency response training completed Wednesday 3/4.
Shimmick, Encore, and Watertectonics
What happens when tanks get full and who to call etc. Notification within the system through auto-dialer –Auto dialer will be installed with call list to be added before flow through.
Need clarification on what happens if system goes into recirc mode for turbidity and pH issues, is there a warning or communications of treatment issues, not just water levels and rain
fall. (Eric) - Watertec IT department is working on the cell coverage upgrade to 5G from 4G that they have currently.
Upcoming Schedule
Install dewatering wells –3/23 hopefully
Sewer work within main site on South end – 3/30
Demo concrete and asphalt middle of site, stockpile on gravel – 3/23 week of.
Sewer trench line, remove asphalt – 3/23
Open Items
Put delineation around trees that remain to start initial clearing until tree protection plan is approved (Alyssa) – Added to CESCL action item list
Environmental Compliance Plan submittal, coming back with some code 3 comments; check with Alyssa if we have any questions on the comments.
