Administration is not to exceed $216,653. The maximum total compensation payable to the City of
Renton is increased by $216,653 from $1,660,999 to $1,877,652.
The total project costs are $2,086,280.41. Total grant amount is $1,877,652.
The City of Renton was awarded an FAA grant in 2023 for the scope of CAG-23-128 A&E Professional
Services Taxiway A Rehab with Century West Engineering in the amount of $1,660,999 that
covered 90% of the eligible costs ($1,833,055) of design.
This FAA Grant Amendment No. 1 covers approximately 86% of the costs incurred
from Amendment No. 2 to CAG-23-128 A&E Professional Services with Century West
Engineering ($250,796).
The Airport is seeking to amend the FAA grant to cover the costs of the added effort (combine the
original two scopes of construction work into a single scope). The FAA requested the city to
have its design firm (Century West Engineering) perform this work in late 2024 and early 2025. The FAA
instructed the city to request this grant amendment once all the work was completed. This work was
completed in October of 2025.
