Environmental Weekly Meeting Minutes

Submittals
Sanitary Sewer Authorization approved by City of Renton.
Ashley and Cameron to sign.
Ashley to compile exhibits and go through checklist on page 2.
Trucking Plan – Sound Transit’s Court
Site Specific Waste Management Plan – Sound Transit’s Court
Tree protection – Sound Transit sending back possibly today.
Soil Management Plan – Need to research spec, may not be needed for this project.
May not need to provide, Alyssa will confirm
Binder for Environmental Compliance Management Plans - Complete
Qualification on professional wetland scientist. Are there any wetlands on site? Is 167 area wetland or floodplain? (Cameron)
Alyssa can look into this.
Excavating 15 CY in floodplain
No wetlands on site, there is a wetland technical memo available for review.
SWPPP revisions – Sound Transit’s Court
Environmental Management Plan – Ashley working on comment responses
Sanitary Sewer Discharge Plan – Ashley working on comment responses.
Open TESC Items
Ashley reached out to Ecology about getting authorization to submit February’s DMR.
Shimmick/Ashley putting together letter of delegation to complete the hard copy ESAF needed.
IT issue, not able to record turbidity, only pH. Ashley in touch with help desk at ecology.
Maria from Ecology granted permission for flow through from treatment system.
Transmit to Sound Transit
Emergency response training completed Wednesday 3/4.
Shimmick, Encore, and Watertectonics
What happens when tanks get full and who to call etc. Notification within the system through auto-dialer –Auto dialer will be installed with call list to be added before flow through.
Need clarification on what happens if system goes into recirc mode for turbidity and pH issues, is there a warning or communications of treatment issues, not just water levels and rain
fall. (Eric) - Watertec IT department is working on the cell coverage upgrade to 5G from 4G that they have currently.
Auto dialer getting installed on Monday 3/23, have Nathan from Watertec join next week’s meeting to walk us through the process.
Submit the water treatment logs and documentation every month with DMRs. – Watertectonics responsibility, Ashley and Adam to follow up with them.
Dumpster still being covered with steel sheet until dumpster with lid can be delivered. Shimmick on waiting list.
Upcoming Schedule
Clearing vegetation on site – Walk the site first and wait on how to proceed.
Install dewatering wells – Next couple weeks
Sewer work within main site on South end – Week of 3/30
Demo concrete and asphalt middle of site, stockpile on gravel – 3/23 week of.
Sewer trench line, remove asphalt – Week of 3/30
Open Items
Put delineation around trees that remain to start initial clearing until tree protection plan is approved (Alyssa) – Complete
City of Renton inspector came to site this morning to look at BMPs and on site permits. Gave a verbal ok on temp tree fencing and TESC installed. Current tree protection shall be replaced
with contract tree protection measures once plan is approved.
