AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO (CAG-24-189) MEMORANDUM OF
AGREEMENT (MOA) BETWEEN THE CITY OF RENTON AND
KING COUNTY, FOR THE RECLAIMED WATER FEASIBILITY STUDY
THIS AMENDMENT, dated for reference purposes only as March 2, 2026, is by and between the
City of Renton (“City”), a Washington municipal corporation, and King County(“County”) through
its Department of Natural Resources and Parks, Wastewater Treatment Division; a political
subdivision of the state of Washington. The City and the Countyare collectively referred toin this
Amendment as the “Parties.” Once fully executed by the Parties, this Amendment is effective as
of the last date signed by both parties.
Whereas, the City and the County entered into a Memorandum of Agreement
(“MOA”/”Agreement”) dated July 1, 2024, for the Study of Reclaimed Water Distribution
Facilities in the City of Renton; and
Whereas, Section 2.0 of the Agreement provides that the term of the Agreement may be
extended by mutual written agreement of the Parties; and
Whereas, the Parties recognize that additional time is needed for the consultant, HDR, Inc., to
complete the Reclaimed Water Study;
NOW THEREFORE, It is mutually agreed upon that the MOA (CAG-24-189) is amended as follows:
1. Section 2.0 Term of Agreement:
The term of the MOA/Agreement is extended to August 31, 2026, and may be further
extended by mutual written agreement of both parties.
2. Except as expressly amended herein, all other terms and conditions of the
MOA/Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties have voluntarily entered into this Amendment as of the date
last signed by the Parties below.
