SUPPLEMENT NO. 1 WITH PARAMETRIX, INC. FOR
CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project will resurface SW 43rd Street from the western city limit to the SR 167 ramps,with the exception
of where there is existing concrete pavement.The project will upgrade intersection curb ramps,affected by
resurfacing limits,to Public Right-of-Way Accessibility Guidelines (PROWAG)requirements.Existing features
affected by the pavement resurfacing such as vehicle detection system,channelization,&pavement markings
will be replaced,and utility lids will be adjusted.Stormwater improvements include new drainage structures
throughout the corridor to improve inlet capacity and a new drainage system at Lind Ave SW intersection.
SUPPLEMENT NO. 1 WITH PARAMETRIX INC.
Supplement No.1 to CAG-25-299 with Parametrix,Inc.for SW 43rd Street,W
C/L to SR 167 Ramps project is in the amount of $597,664.01.
Parametrix,Inc.will provide construction management services for SW 43rd
Street,W C/L to SR 167 Ramps project.The tasks will include but not be
limited to construction management services during construction and post-
construction management services to administer the construction contract as
defined in the Scope of Work,Exhibit A.
There is sufficient funding in the project budget to cover this supplement.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute Supplement No.1 to CAG-25-299 with
Parametrix,Inc.in the amount of $597,664.01 for the SW 43rd Street,W C/L to SR 167
Ramps project.
