Re: Archaeology - Concur with MIDP
Dear Ian Harris:
Thank you for contacting the State Historic Preservation Officer (SHPO) and the Department of
Archaeology and Historic Preservation (DAHP) with documentation regarding the above-
referenced project. We have received and reviewed the Monitoring and Inadvertent Discovery
Plan (MIDP). Based on this review, we recommend that all ground disturbing activities be
monitored by a professional archaeologist and concur with the plan outlined in the MIDP.
We recommend that the affected tribes be consulted and would appreciate receiving any
correspondence or comments from the tribes or from other parties regarding cultural resource
concerns.
These comments are based on the information available at the time of this review. Please note
that should the project scope of work and/or location change significantly, please contact DAHP
for further review.
