On 4/4/2026 at 1434 hours I was dispatched to a motor vehicle collision at S. 4th PL and Rainier
Ave S in the City of Renton, King County,Washington.
Driver 1 was Barbara J. Gayden (DOB:08/17/1945-verified by WADOL photo)
Unit 1 was a white 2007 Cadilac CTS (506VWV/WA)
Driver 2 was Hamidullah Sayed (DOB:08/02/2006-verified by WADOL photo)
Unit 2 was a light blue 2021 Honda Accord (CTZ2624/WA)
All parties were told they would be recorded.
Pre-Collision
Driver 2 stated he was driving northbound on Rainier Ave S approaching the 532 block of Rainier
Ave S,when Unit 1 pulled out of a parking lot on the east and into lane#3, causing a collision.
Driver 1 stated she was pulling out of the parking lot of the nail salon business (532 Rainier Ave
S) and believed the roadway was clear as she turned right into the lane (lane 3).
Collision
Driver 2 stated he had no injuries. He had (4) cousins in the vehicle with him.All wearing
seatbelts and had no injuries. Akaramullah Sayed was in the front right, Stara Sayed was in the
rear drivers,Aqra was in the rear middle and Farshta Sayed was in the rear passenger's seat.
Driver 1 stated she had no injuries and was wearing her seatbelt.

Officer Narrative-Continued
Unit 1 had damage to the front driver's side fender,where it meets the front driver's side door.
Unit 2 had damage on the front passenger's corner bumper/fender area.
Both vehicles were driveable.
Photos were taken and uploaded.
Proximate Cause
After reviewing Driver 2's dash cam footage, I determined the following:
The proximate cause of the collision was Unit 1 failing to turn into the closet lane to the curb
(lane 1)from her right hand turn onto the 532 block of Rainier Ave S—northbound. As Unit 1
turned into lane#3 instead, this caused her to drive into the front passenger's side corner fender
of Unit 2. Driver 1 received traffic infraction#6A0040281 for an improper turn. I handed the ticket
to Driver 1. Driver 2 showed suspended in the 3rd degree. He received traffic citation
#6A0250523 for DWLS 3rd. I handed the citation to Driver 2. Both parties received an exchange
of information sheet. Driver 2 was advised not to drive due to his DWLS.
I sent Driver 2 an AXON link to upload the dash cam footage.
