The following occurred in the City of Renton, King County, Washington unless otherwise stated.
During this incident 1 was equipped with body-worn camera which records both audio and video.
Portions of the incident were recorded. This report is merely a summary of the incident and is not
intended to be an exact transcription of the entire investigation or what may have been captured
with the recording system. During this incident I was wearing a department issued uniform or jump
suit and outer carrier vest which was marked with "Police"both on the front, back, and
department patches on each shoulder of the uniform or jumpsuit, as well as a Renton Police Velcro
badge on my left chest. It would be immediately obvious to any reasonable person that I was a
Police Officer.
On 4/6/2026 at 1343 hours I was dispatched to a hit and run report at the Chase Bank located at 150
Logan Ave S.
I contacted the reporting party, identified as Ponlork Pech (DOB: 11/22/1991) by WA DL, by his 2021
Acura TLX (WA LP: CPA0005).
Pech stated that he had parked at that location at around 1330 hours and went inside of the bank to
do business there. Upon returning to his vehicle, he saw that the front drivers side bumper had a
large scrape with white paint transfer. Pech stated that he saw that there was a white Hyundai
Veloster parked next to him on the side that the damage was on when he parked and walked inside
and that it was gone when he returned to his vehicle.
Chase refused to provide video and Pech did not get a license plate for the possible suspect vehicle.
Pech wanted to file this report for insurance purposes only.
At this time, there are no suspects in this case.
