Renton Case#26-2849
On 04/11/2026 at2019 hours I was dispatched to the intersection of Bronson Way S/S 2nd St, in the City of
Renton, King County, Washington. I was responding the call of a non-injury, hit and run accident. This incident
was captured on my bodyworn video camera.This report is a summation of events that occurred and is
not an exact sequence of events.
While enroute, dispatched advised the following: 10 AGO... HIT AND RUN TO MC... NI...SUSP VEH BLK
FORD FOCUS, LEFT BUMPER AT LOC... MC WAITING AT LOC FOR CONT... MC PLATE @8K7672...
At approximately 2019 hours, I arrived on scene and located Unit 2 vehicle parked on the sidewalk on the
northwest corner of the intersection.
I identified Unit 2 as a 2004 Harley-Davidson FXST motorcycle (WA LIC#8K7672) being driven by the
registered owner, identified by his WA DL as Steven L Rancour(DOB 12/12/1965).
Unit 2 driver told me he was not injured. Unit 2 driver stated that he was traveling southbound on Bronson
Way S, stopped for traffic at a red light at the S 2nd St. Unit 2 driver said that upon the light turning green, the
vehicle in front of him (Unit 1) slowing crept forward before brake checking Unit 2 vehicle. Unit 1 vehicle then
started forward again, before again brake checking Unit 2. Once stopped for the second time, Unit 1 vehicle
then placed the vehicle in reverse, and backed into Unit 2 vehicle, causing Unit 2 driver to fall off his
motorcycle.
Unit 2 driver provided me with his WA DL, registration and proof of insurance.
I observed minor damage to the front fender,front headlight and side license plate bracket of Unit 2 vehicle.
Also observed on scene was the rear bumper belonging to Unit 1 vehicle.
While on scene, I was contacted by several nearby witness'who provided photographs of Unit 1 vehicle. In
viewing the photos, Unit 1 vehicle appeared to be a late model black Toyota Camry/Corolla 4-door sedan with
WA plates. From speaking to witness' and viewing the suspect vehicle photographs, I was unable to obtain a
suspect driver description and was unable to make out the vehicle license plate.
This incident occurred in the sCity of Renton,King County,Washington State.

I took photographs of Unit 2 vehicle and the sustained damage,the rear bumper of Unit 1 vehicle.All photos
were later uploaded to Axon Evidence.
An area check looking for Unit 1 vehicle was performed with negative results.
I provided Unit 2 vehicle with a business card, case number and answered his remaining questions.
I then cleared the scene.
This ends my report.
