EG94843 CASE# 26-2925 OF COLLISION 04/06/26 19:51 OF CbLLI510N NARRATIVE I was working as a fully uniformed City of Renton Police Officer in a fully marked City of Renton Police Car as unit# 3R13. This report is a summary of events that occurred and is not an exact sequencing of events. Statements have been paraphrased and summarized. On 04/06/2026 at approximately 1941 hours, I was dispatched to an illegal discharge call, which was later confirmed to be a shooting at Gene Coulon, located at 1201 Lake Washington Blvd N in the City of Renton, King County WA. Dispatch advised: NEAR BOAT LAUNCH - 1 AGO, SOUNDS OF 5 GUNSHOTS, SEE PEOPLE RUNNING. RP DID NOT SEE SUBJ W/GUN While I was in route to the call location, dispatch advised that the individuals who were involved in the shooting were driving south bound, Logan Ave S in the City of Renton, King County WA. Officer Ediger located a vehicle that matched the description of the shooting suspects, a black Dodge Charger (WA/CTM7422). Officer Ediger attempted a traffic stop on the Charger, but the Charger fled from Police and a pursuit was not initiated. (Please see Renton Police case 26-2669 for further information regarding the shooting). As I was clearing the scene, we were notified of a hit and run call that occurred where a Dodge Charger, later confirmed to be the one that fled from Police was involved in. I was dispatched to the hit and run call, which occurred at the intersection of Renton Ave S and S 132nd ST in the City of Renton, King County WA. The driver of unit#1, who at this time is unknown, was driving westbound onto S 132nd ST from Renton Ave S. As they were turning left (west) they drove into the front bumper of unit#2 (WA/CLJ9322), who was being driven by Aaron Andrew A. Steinbcher (DOB 02/28/1988 VIA WADOL). Unit#2 was in their own designated lane which had a small median dividing it from vehicles turning left on S 132nd ST. Unit#2 was stopped to turn eastbound (right) onto Renton Ave S from S 132nd ST. The driver of unit #1 drove into his lane, causing damage. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the crime the driver of the Charger was involved in, I could not immediately stop and assess the damage on the Porsche, as I felt it was more urgent to locate the suspects involved in the shooting. As I was in the area, I notified the driver that I will return to his location shortly, the driver of the Porsche was not able to wait for Police any longer and requested a phone call instead. The Charger was located with heavy front-end damage and a tire which was broken from the Axle. I did notice white paint on it, which is consistent with the Porsche's color. The Dodge Charger was impounded into the Renton Police evidence garage. I spoke with neighbors, but none of them had working cameras that would capture the incident. PAGE 3 OF 5 REPORT NO.
