Unless stated otherwise, this incident occurred in the City of Renton, County of King, State of Washington.
During this incident, I was on duty as a Police Officer for the City of Renton and assigned to Patrol District R12.
1 was wearing a fully marked uniform and driving a fully marked vehicle. This incident was recorded with video
and audio. It is important to note that the camera may have captured things that I did not perceive, and I may
have perceived things that were not captured by the camera. The following is a summary of the events:
On 04/15/2026 at approximately 2034 hours, I was dispatched to a recent hit and run collision at SW Grady
Way and Oakesdale Ave SW. The victim was later identified via CA DOL as EMILY ACOSTA SANTILLANES
(DOB: 12/24/2000)and the victim was later identified as 2019 SUBARU OUTBACK(OR: 972QER).
Upon arrival, I observed a minor scuff mark to the Subaru's rear bumper. I took a photo of the damage and later
uploaded it to Evidence.com.
I proceeded to interview Emily. In summary, Emily was facing southbound in lane one at the intersection of SW
Grady Way and Oakesdale SW. The suspect vehicle slightly rear-ended Emily's Subaru and fled the scene.
Emily was unable to get a vehicle description, a driver description, or a direction of travel. Emily was not injured.
Emily advised that she just wanted a report for insurance. In parting, I provided her with the case number.
This report is for information only. This concludes my involvement on today's date.
