Narrative
On 04/16/2026 at approximately 0715 hours, I was advised by dispatch of a follow up detail regarding a
hit and run collision that occurred the day prior at 2121 NE 17th Pl,within the city limits of Renton, King
County,WA. Dispatch advised the reporting party, identified by dispatch as KRISTY ARCHIE,was stating
she had questions reference her previously reported hit and run collision, reference incident number
RP26-17387.
I contacted the reporting party by phone. She verbally identified herself to me as KRISTY L.ARCHIE (DOB
10/05/1972).ARCHIE told me that yesterday afternoon an Amazon delivery driver ran into her
approximately two foot tall landscape retaining wall, damaging it, and then left the scene without
providing her name, contact information, or insurance information.ARCHIE advised me that when she
got home yesterday evening and found the damaged retaining wall she called Renton Police to make a hit
and run report, and the officer she initially spoke to encouraged her to instead handle it internally with
Amazon.ARCHIE advised me she has since spoken to Amazon but they declined to take responsibility
since the collision was not captured on video.ARCHIE stated she would like to make a police report.
ARCHIE told me that she and her neighbor do have video surveillance, however the video is motion
activated and only captured portions of the incident, but not the actual moment of impact.ARCHIE
provided me with this video surveillance via an Axon community link. I viewed the video and observed the
following:
ARCHIE's doorbell camera shows the Amazon delivery driver arrive in her vehicle(a newer body
style gray colored Ford Explorer with unknown license plates)and drop off a package at ARCHIE's
front door on 04/15/2026 at approximately 16:43:21 hours.The delivery driver then returns to her
vehicle and sits down in the driver's seat,which was when the video stopped recording.
ARCHIE also provided a still photo of the damaged retaining wall,which was completely knocked
over.
The neighbor's video was from 2127 NE 17th Pl.This video shows the delivery driver arrive on
04/15/2026 at approximately 16:43:21 hours, drop off a package at ARCHIE's front door, and
return to her vehicle (the gray Ford Explorer with unknown license plates).The video then shows
the vehicle start to back up toward the retaining wall(which was not yet damaged), but then the

video stopped recording.The suspect appeared to be a mixed race female in her mid 20s to mid
30s, medium height, medium build,with dark brown hair,wearing an Amazon vest.This same
neighbor had a second video which shows the neighbor returning home approximately three
minutes later at 16:46:30 hours. Upon the neighbor's arrival home,the delivery driver was gone
and the retaining wall was now damaged.There were no other vehicles seen on camera near
ARCHIE's retaining wall in this approximately three minute time frame, indicating the delivery
driver was likelythe suspect who caused the damage.
ARCHIE told me that she did not want to pursue criminal charges at this time, but she did want the
delivery driver's contact and insurance information so she could get the retaining wall repaired. I
provided ARCHIE with the case number and then ended my contact with her.
The suspect's confirmed identity is unknown at this time.
