NARRATIVE
I dropped off the Venza at Car Fix Renton Automotive (322 S 3rd St, Renton, WA 98057) around 8:15 am on 3/31/2026. I
returned to pick up the Venza around 12:15 pm on 3/31/2026. Upon speaking with the owner of CFRA, Jim, he told me that
they had parked the car just before noon across the street, and shortly thereafter someone had very quickly backed straight
up into the parked Venza and drove away. They were unable to see a license plate number, identify the make or model of the
vehicle, or tell where the car came from. The only immediate driveways adjacent to where they parked the car belong to the
Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church (400 S 3rd St, Renton, WA 98057) and when I went to see if there was someone to
talk to there, all the doors were closed and it appeared empty.
The damage to the Venza is a damaged front license plate and two large (1 to 1-1/2" diameter) holes in the front panel. It is
unclear how another car backing up caused this specific type of damage.
