The following briefly describes the application and the necessary Public Approvals. See also https://rb.gy/obcwyf PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The applicant proposes a four-lot short plat on a 34,174-square-foot (0.78- acre) parcel located within the Residential-8 (R-8) zoning district. The applicant is proposing to retain the existing detached single-family home, demolish the garage, and subdivide the parcel into four (4) lots each housing a detached single-family home and accessory dwelling units (ADU). Access to the proposed lots would be gained from NE 1st St via a shared driveway. According to City of Renton (COR) Maps, the site contains regulated slopes of fifteen percent (15%) to less than twenty-five percent (25%). The site does not contain any significant trees and the applicant is proposing to add approximately 15 trees to the site. A Technical Information Report (TIR) and Geotechnical Services Report have been provided with the application.
