Renton Case#26-3107
On 04/22/2026 at 0056 hours I was dispatched to a phone report at 800 block of Garden Ave N, in the City of
Renton, King County, Washington. I was responding to a call of non-injury, hit and run collision. This report is
a summation of events that occurred and is not an exact sequence of events.
While en route, dispatch advised the following: **FONE**3 HRS AGO, NI H&R,SUSP VEH WHI OR SIL
SUV @D84876H
I contacted Unit 2 driver via telephone. In speaking with Unit 2 driver, he stated that while traveling
westbound on N 8th ST,just east of Garden Ave N, Unit 1 vehicle turned into his lane of travel—
contacting the driver side of his vehicle and pushing him into the adjacent curb, causing damage to the
front right wheel of Unit 2 vehicle.
Unit 2 driver said that after the collision, Unit 1 vehicle briefly stopped before continuing westbound on N
8th St.
The only description provided for Unit 1 driver was a middle-aged white male.
As I spoke with Unit 2 driver via telephone, I did not observe the crash scene or either vehicle involved.
I provided Unit 2 driver with a case number, answered his remaining questions and then ended the
contact.
