THIS AMENDMENT, dated for reference purposes only as April 7, 2026, is by and between the
City of Renton (the “City”), a Washington municipal corporation, and Paint the Town LLC
(“Consultant”), a California limited liability company. The City and the Consultant are referred to
collectively in this Amendment as the “Parties.” Once fully executed by the Parties, this
Amendment is effective as of the last date signed by both parties.
Whereas, the City engaged the services of the Consultant under Agreement CAG-26-025, dated
12-5-2025, to provide necessary services for the Art Programs (referred to herein as the
“Agreement”);
Whereas, the Parties wish to amend the Agreement to change the scope of work in order to
correct when event date & time will occur.
NOW THEREFORE, It is mutually agreed upon that CAG-26-025 is amended as follows:
1. Scope of Work: Section 1, Scope of Work, is amended to adjust the event date to April
23, 2026 as specified in Exhibit A-1, which is attached and incorporated herein.
2.All terms of the Agreement not explicitly modified herein shall remain in full force and
effect and such terms shall apply to Work performed according to this Amendment as if
fully set forth herein.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties have voluntarily entered into this Amendment as of the date
last signed by the Parties below.

Paint the Town – Scope of Work

1. Parties
This Scope of Work (“Agreement”) is made between Paint the Town (the Vendor) and City of
Renton (the Purchaser).
2. Engagement Details
Event Date & Time: April 1, 2024 at 7pm PST
• Painting session duration: typically 2 hours (not including setup or cleanup)
• Vendor will arrive 60 minutes prior to start time for setup.
Event Location: TBD
3. Pricing & Minimums
Rate: $35 per person
Minimum Attendance: 50 participants required for this rate
Deposit: $160 to secure booking
Final Payment: Balance due 3 days before event date
Accepted Payments: Wire transfer, check, or credit card (3 % processing fee applies)
4. Additional Fees
Travel Fee: $25 based on distance and driving time
Parking: Purchaser covers parking if free parking is not available onsite
Overtime: $75 per 30 minutes beyond allotted painting time (e.g., due to late arrivals)
Administration fees: $150 for business license
5. Vendor Responsibilities
Paint the Town will provide:
• Professional painting instruction and facilitation
• All art supplies including: acrylic paints, paintbrushes, canvas panels, table easels, aprons,
plates, cups, napkins, and table covers
• Full setup and cleanup of painting area
6. Purchaser Responsibilities
Purchaser will provide:
• Suitable venue space with tables and chairs (arranged in long rectangular rows)
• Access to running water
• Microphone or sound system for groups exceeding 50 participants
7. Liability & Damages
Paint the Town will take reasonable precautions to protect venue property.
Purchaser: Responsible for damage caused by guests’ misuse or negligence.
Vendor: Responsible for damage caused by Vendor negligence.
8. Cancellation & Rescheduling
Canceled within 14 days of event: Deposit retained for rescheduling +$40 reschedule
fee.
Canceled within 48 hours (no deposit):$40 cancellation fee applies.
No refunds for guest cancellations within 3 days of event or after supplies have been
shipped.
9. Independent Contractor Status
Paint the Town operates as an independent contractor, not an employee of the Purchaser,
and assumes responsibility for all taxes and fees under federal and local law.
