CALL FOR BIDS
Sealed bids will be received until 11:00 AM on May 19th, 2026, at the lobby of Renton City Hall, 1055
South Grady Way, Renton, WA 98057. All supplemental documents, that are allowed to be submitted
after this date and time, shall be received at the lobby of Renton City Hall. The bids will be opened
and publicly read via Zoom video-conferencing web application at 11:00 AM, May 21, 2026. Any bids
received after the published bid submittal time cannot be considered and will not be accepted.

Register as a Bidder, in order to receive automatic email notification of future addenda and to be

The City of Renton, in accordance with the provisions Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, (78
Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will
affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement,
disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity and fair opportunity to
submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds
of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award.
The improvement for which bids will be received is described below:
The work to be performed under these specifications consists of furnishing all labor, tools, materials,
and equipment necessary for construction of the 2026 SLURRY SEAL PROJECT. This contract
provides for the preparation and installation of Slurry Seal Type II to existing asphalt streets,
pavement marking removal and replacement, street surface preparation, herbicide application,
vegetation trimming, street sweeping and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract
Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications.
