ASSIGNMENT
On 04/29/2026 at approximately 1018 hours, I was dispatched to a hit and run attended report
by phone that occurred in the 10500 block of SE Carr Road in the city of Renton, King County,
Washington.
VICTIM INTERVIEW: BROOKS SLOAN L.
I spoke with the victim/reporting party, Sloan L. Brooks (DOB: 01/29/1962), by phone.The
following is a summary of our conversation:
Brooks'was driving his son's silver 2023 Testa Model 3 (WA/AXG3306, Unit 2)west on SE Carr
Road in the number one lane. Another vehicle, a green 2015 Ford Fusion (WA/CVK1796, Unit 1),
was tailgating Brooks. Brooks believed Unit 1's driver was upset that he merged in front of him.
Unit 1 merged from the number one to the number two lane and was "swerving at" Unit 2.
Brooks believed this was an attempt to intimidate him. Unit 1's front-passenger bumper
suddenly collided with Unit 2's rear-driver bumper, causing damage.
Unit 1 continued driving west on SE Carr Road, and did not stop to exchange information.
Brooks was not injured. Brooks would not be able to identify the driver if seen again.
DISPOSITION
This concluded my involvement in this case.
