TT HIS AMENDMENT , dated for reference purposes only as April 6, 2026, is by and
between the City of Renton (the “City”), a Washington municipal corporation, and
Public Safety Testing, Inc. (“Consultant”), a Washington corporation. The City and the
Consultant are referred to collectively in this Amendment as the “Parties.” Once fully
executed by the Parties, this Amendment is effective as of the last date signed by both
parties.
Whereas, the City engaged the services of the Consultant under Agreement
CAG-20-013, dated October 19, 2019, to provide necessary services for the City
of Renton Police Department (referred to herein as the “Agreement”); and
Whereas, the Parties wish to amend the Agreement to change the time for
performance and change the compensation in order to further extend the agreement;
NOW THEREFORE, It is mutually agreed upon that CAG-20-013 is amended as follows:
1.Timee off Performance:Section 3, Time of Performance, is amended pursuant to
the schedule(s) set forth in Exhibit F. All Work shall be performed by no later
than June 30, 2027.
2. Compensation: Section 4, Compensation, is amended so that the maximum
amount of compensation payable to Consultant is increased by $8,280, from
$52,944 to $61,224, plus any applicable state and local sales taxes. The
additional compensation shall be paid based upon Work actually performed
according to the rate(s) or amounts specified in Exhibit F, which is attached and
incorporated herein.
3.All terms of the Agreement not explicitly modified herein shall remain in full
force and effect and such terms shall apply to Work performed according to this
Amendment as if fully set forth herein.

PROFESSIONAL FEES
SERVICE FEE NOTE
PST Annual Agency
Subscription:
Law Enforcement Officer Testing
$8,280 Base annual subscription rate.
Recruiting at PST Written Exam
Events (if conducted by

following RPD recruitment effort at an in-
person or virtual written exam session. For
virtual exam events, Subscriber will submit a
~60-second video.
If Agency elects to exercise this option,
Agency will be invoiced based on the rate for
“New Agency Add-on Fee” listed in the
current PST pricing chart.
If Subscriber elects to pay
candidate test fees upfront,
Subscriber will notify PST in
writing. The Subscriber will be
invoiced only for those who attend
their written exam.
Law Enforcement written exam &
Physical Ability Test (PAT) events
that do not occur on the same day
as the PST in-person written exam

Subscriber agrees to pay candidate testing
fees under circumstances such as a
verifiable financial hardship, subscriber-
requested coupons to distribute, discounts
offered by the Subscriber, etc. Each will be
pre-approved and agreed to by the
Subscriber.
When the Subscriber pays for a candidate’s
test fee, the Subscriber agency is removed
from the candidate’s pricing matrix so that the
Subscriber is not subsidizing the candidate
testing for other non-Subscriber agencies.
The candidate will pay if they choose to test
for any other agency besides the Subscriber.
If Agency elects to exercise this option,
Agency will be invoiced amount based on the
testing fees for a single agency listed in the
current PST pricing chart.
