On 4/9/2026 1 was working as a uniformed patrol officer and driving a marked patrol vehicle for the
City of Renton. I was dispatched to a report of a hit and run collision that had occurred prior in the
parking lot of 425 SW 41st St Renton/King/WA. Craig L Beymer DOB: 6/2/1956 was calling to report
that someone had backed into his red 2010 Toyota Highlander WA/ABV6801.
I called Craig and asked what happened, he said that his Highlander was parked and unoccupied in
the parking lot. When he returned to his vehicle, he was flagged down by a witness who advised he
saw a gray pickup truck collide with the Highlander. Craig said there is damage to the driver side rear
bumper. The witness told him the suspect vehicle was a gray pickup truck, and the driver had been in
the SharpVision clinic prior.
Craig said that he went inside the clinic and attempted to get suspect information, but the receptionist
advised she was not able to provide them anything.
Craig provided me with witness information of Misa Takami 425-269-1797. 1 called Misa and did not
receive an answer.
On 4/16/2026 1 went to SharpeVision and spoke with the receptionist, she advised she remembered
the incident but would not be able to provide me with any suspect infirmation. She explained that the
hit and run occurred around 0930 hours in the morning and they had approximately 9 patients come
and go during that time. She also said that since they are a vision clinic and use dilation that its
possible it was a patient from even earlier who had sat in there car waiting for the dilation to wear off.
She also said that since it happened to the side of the front doors it was not witnessed by her or any
of the staff.
I was not able to locate any visible cameras in the portion of the lot where the incident occurred.
Nothing further.
