ASSIGNMENT/ARRIVAL
On 05/07/2026 at approximately 1342 hours, I was dispatched to a two vehicle collision in the
500 block of Logan Avenue N in the city of Renton, King County,Washington.
The involved parties moved to 546 Burnett Avenue N for contact.
I arrived at approximately 1347 hours.
UNIT 1: HONDA ACCORD
Upon arrival I observed a gray 2015 Honda Accord (WA/CRG6800, Unit 1) in the parking lot of
546 Burnett Avenue N. Unit 1 was moved from its point of rest prior to my arrival. Unit 1 had
minor damage to the front bumper.
UNIT 2:ACURA MDX
I observed a white 2016 Acura MDX(WA/CUY0120, Unit 2) parked in front of Unit 2. Unit 2 was
moved from its point of rest prior to my arrival. Unit 2 had minor damage to the rear bumper.
DRIVER 1: MCELROY, IMMANUEL A.
I contacted Immanuel A. McElroy(DOB: 03/19/2004) standing near Unit 1. 1 positively identified
McElroy by his valid Washington Driver License and established him as the uninjured driver of
Unit 1 by his admission.
DRIVER 2:THACH, DORA T. C.
I contacted Dora T. C.Thach (DOB: 06/18/1981) standing near Unit 1. 1 positively identified

Thach by her valid Massachusetts Driver License and established her as the uninjured driver of
Unit 2 by her admission.
STATEMENT
I spoke with McElroy and Thach at the scene. McElroy said he drove Unit 1 north in the 500 block
of Logan Avenue N behind Unit 2. Unit 2 stopped for a red light at the intersection of Logan
Avenue N and N 6th Street. McElroy looked down for a time, didn't see Unit 2 had stopped, and
collided with Unit 2's rear end.
Thach agreed with this version of events.
PROXIMATE CAUSE
The proximate cause of the collision was determined by damage observed to both vehicles and
McElroy's statements.
McElroy's action, namely his violation of Renton Municipal Code 10-12-25, Inattentive Driving,
was the proximate cause of the collision.
DISPOSITION
This concluded my involvement in this case.
