The following occurred in the City of Renton, King County, Washington unless otherwise stated.
During this incident 1 was equipped with body-worn camera which records both audio and video.
Portions of the incident were recorded. This report is merely a summary of the incident and is not
intended to be an exact transcription of the entire investigation or what may have been captured
with the recording system. During this incident I was wearing a department issued uniform or jump
suit and outer carrier vest which was marked with "Police"on the front, "Renton Police"on the
back, with department patches on each shoulder of the uniform or jumpsuit, as well as a Renton
Police Velcro badge on my►eft chest. It would be immediately obvious to any reasonable person
that I was a Police Officer.
On 5/07/2026 at 1315 hours I was dispatched to a hit and run report at the Bank of America located
at 300 Burnett Ave S.
I met the victim, identified as Jason S. Li (DOB: 12/17/1991), and asked what happened. Li stated that
he was preparing to park within the parking lot of the Bank of America when another vehicle, a
brown Buick SUV (LP: UNK) began to reverse out of a parking stall. Li stated that the vehicle
continued to reverse until the rear bumper of the vehicle collided with the front bumper of Li's 2014
Toyota RAV4 (WA LP: ARY4380).
Li stated that the driver of the suspect vehicle was an elderly white male with a slender build. Li
spoke with the suspect who denied colliding with his vehicle and then fled the scene South on
Burnett Ave S.
Li and the witness on scene, Carter H. Dummler (DOB: 10/28/2001), both did not get a license plate
for the suspect vehicle prior to it leaving the scene.
At this time the suspect vehicle and it's driver remain unidentified. I am unable to search FLOCK at
this time for the vehicle due to the service being suspended.
This incident occurred in the sCity of Renton,King County,Washington State.
