Narrative
On 05/12/2026, at approximately 1405 hours,the registered owner of Unit 2 reported a collision that
occurred on 08/27/2025 at the student parking lot located at Lindbergh High School.
According to the reporting party(RP), Unit 2 was being operated by his son,who is a student at
Lindbergh High School.The driver of Unit 1 is also a student at Lindbergh High School.
The RP stated that while in the Lindbergh High School parking lot,the driver of the black Nissan Altima
(Unit 1)was backing out of a parking space and struck the rear of the stationary, occupied white Nissan
Versa (Unit 2).After the initial impact, Unit 1 continued moving, causing the two vehicles to scrape
against each other before Unit 1 eventually stopped.
The driver of Unit 1 allegedly offered cash for the damage but did not provide a driver's license or
insurance information.The RP stated the driver of Unit 1 was personally known to his son (driver of unit
2).
Several days later, after repair estimates were obtained,the driver of Unit 1 reportedly refused to
accept responsibility for the damages and continued refusing to provide insurance information.The
school was contacted and provided insurance information associated with Unit 1. However, after
contacting the listed insurance company to file a claim,the RP discovered the policy information
provided was fraudulent or invalid.
Attempts were made to work through the school to contact the involved students' parents; however,
the parents allegedly refused to participate, and the school could not release their information directly.
As a result,the RP elected to file this report.
Documents and photos associated were added to the case.
