Hello All,
This is a reminder that the City has NOT received confirmation that the contractor has read the preconstruction
meeting notes. Please note that In-depth Excavation, Inc. is not approved to work on the Shum Short Plat until the
City receives this confirmation (via email).

Dillon,
Good morning! The City of Renton has been informed that you will be a contractor for the Shum
Short Plat Civil Construction Permit located at 1157 Queen Ave NE, Renton, WA with an anticipated
construction start date of May 25th, 2026.
A preconstruction meeting is required to be held for the contractor’s benefit at the start of any Civil
Construction Permit within the City of Renton. However, since this project has already had the
preconstruction meeting, we are offering the following in lieu of holding the meeting:
• As the representing contractor for the Shum Short Plat (C22005922), you must thoroughly
read the document provided in this email (Pre-Con Meeting Notes 20251229)
• Ask any questions you may have about the notes attached in this email
• Provide written notice (it can be via email) that you agree to the terms and conditions of the
Pre-Construction Meeting Notes 20251229
In addition, if you haven’t already, please apply for a City of Renton business license. We will need
an active City of Renton business license prior to any earthwork on this permit. Thanks!
