Renton Case#26-3798
Unless otherwise noted,the following occurred in the City of Renton, County of King, WA.
On 05-17-2026 at approximately 1119 hours I was dispatched to a hit and run collision near the 300 block of
Whitworth Ave S. Dispatch advised 5 minutes prior someone hit the reporting party's vehicle and was gone
from the location.The suspect vehicle was a small red SUV with damage to the front and drove west down the
S 3rd Aly.
I arrived on scene and contacted the RP who identified herself as Katharine A. Shioyama (DOB 11-28-1991)
and was driving Unit#2 bearing WA/ATH3347. She advised she was leaving church traveling northbound on
Whitworth Ave S when a vehicle hit the rear passenger side of hers,the other vehicle was crossing Whitworth
Ave S traveling on S 3rd Aly westbound. She was only able to provide that the suspect vehicle was a Red and
possibly a 1990's model Honda CRV.
I provided Katharine with Renton Case#26-3798.
1 took a photograph of the damage to her vehicle and uploaded it to evidence.com under Renton Case#3798. 1
did not observe any cameras on nearby businesses of where the collision took place.
Unit#1 (SUSPECT) committed one (1) count of Hit-and-Run—Attended by being involved in an accident with
another vehicle, which is attended, and failing to stop and remain at the scene until fulfilling all statutory
duties (provide name, address, insurance company, policy,vehicle license, exhibit driver's license and render
reasonable assistance to any person injured).
This concludes my involvement with case#26-3798.
