The following occurred in the City of Renton, King County, Washington unless otherwise stated.
During this incident 1 was equipped with body-worn camera which records both audio and video.
Portions of the incident were recorded. This report is merely a summary of the incident and is not
intended to be an exact transcription of the entire investigation or what may have been captured
with the recording system. During this incident I was wearing a department issued uniform or jump
suit and outer carrier vest which was marked with "Police"on the front, "Renton Police"on the
back, with department patches on each shoulder of the uniform or jumpsuit, as well as a Renton
Police Velcro badge on my►eft chest. It would be immediately obvious to any reasonable person
that I was a Police Officer.
On 5/18/2026 at 1315 hours I was dispatched to a hit and run collision that occurred at SW Sunset
Blvd and Rainier Ave S.
The victim, identified as Cheng C. Saeteurn (DOB: 07/02/1972) by WA DL, stated that she was driving
her 2018 Toyota RAV4 (WA LP: CFE4532). Saeteurn stated that she was stopped facing North on
Rainier Ave S in the left lefthand turn lane preparing to proceed West on SW Sunset Blvd. Saeteurn
stated that while stopped at a red light, a silver 2009 Toyota Corolla (WA LP: CSF7320) approached
from behind and the front bumper of that vehicle collided with the rear bumper of Saeturn's RAV4. I
observed very minor damage.
Saeteurn stated that the driver was an older Asian male and that she would not be able to identify
the suspect in this case if she saw him again. The vehicle was last seen proceeding West on SW
Sunset Blvd.
At this time, the suspect in this case remained unidentified and the victim cannot ID the suspect.
