The following occurred in the City of Renton, King County, Washington unless otherwise stated.
During this incident 1 was equipped with body-worn camera which records both audio and video.
Portions of the incident were recorded. This report is merely a summary of the incident and is not
intended to be an exact transcription of the entire investigation or what may have been captured
with the recording system. During this incident I was wearing a department issued uniform or jump
suit and outer carrier vest which was marked with "Police"on the front, "Renton Police"on the
back, with department patches on each shoulder of the uniform or jumpsuit, as well as a Renton
Police Velcro badge on my►eft chest. It would be immediately obvious to any reasonable person
that I was a Police Officer.
On 5/26/2026 at 1611 hours I was dispatched to a hit and run collision that occurred at the
intersection of 108th Ave SE and SE 186th St.
The victim, identified as Marcial L. Gumiran (DOB: 06/06/2006) by WA DL, stated that he was driving
South on 108th Ave SE in the#1 lane approaching SE 186th St. As he came into the intersection with
SE 186th St, a red SUV disregarded their stop sign on the East side of the 108th Ave SE and proceeded
to perform a righthand turn in front of Gumiran. Gumiran evaded the red SUV to avoid a collision,
and upon doing so was forced into the curb on the Northeast side of the roadway. This caused
damage to both passenger side wheels and caused his right rear tire to flatten. Video evidence
provided by a witness corroborated this and the witness told me that she estimated that Gumiran
was traveling at around 35mph at the time of collision. The speed limit on 108th Ave SE at that
intersection is 40mph and Gumiran was facing no traffic control device at the time of collision.
Gumiran's vehicle is a 2018 BMW 530XE (WA TP: A9344178)
After speaking to witnesses, they advised me that they would be unable to provide a license plate for
the suspect vehicle. Gumiran asked for a tow truck due to the damage and I called for a tow for him.
At this time, the suspect and suspect vehicle in this case remain unidentified, and there is no person
