On May 13, 2026, at 1232 hours dispatch requested that I contact a victim of a recent hit and run that
occurred at the St Vincent De Paul, 575 Rainier Ave N, in the city of Renton, county of King, and state of
Washington.The reporting party, later identified as Zoe C.Taylor, stated she was struck by a vehicle and
believed the driver was possibly under the influence.
Upon my arrival Officers had already contacted the involved parties.The driver of Unit#1 was identified as
Zachary A. McCleary(09/11/1990). 1 overheard Zachary mention he was parking into the adjacent stall next to
Unit#2. He believes he failed to notice his approach angel when entering the parking stall, and struck Unit#2
with his front bumper.
Other officers told me that based on the damage seen on both vehicles, it is obvious they had collided.They
told me that based on the location of the damage and paint transfer, it appeared they were both involved.
While I spoke with Zoe, Officers conducted SFST's on Zach. Later, I was told by officers that Zach did not
appear to be under the influence.
I asked Zoe if she witnessed the collision, and she said no. She told me that she noticed the damage once she
entered her vehicle after she stepped back inside her vehicle. She assumed it was Unit#1.
Unit#1 was identified as a Cadillac Escalade bearing Washington plates CSL2669. Unit#2 was a Volvo XC90
bearing Washington plates CSE5272.
I provided both drivers with my information and case number.
This is an information report only. No traffic infractions were committed.
