Reoranization of the RMAC
There was a brief discussion about reorganizing the RMAC, which was initially brought up at the
January meeting. The RMAC is more closely aligned with the Economic Development Division of
Community and Economic Development and that may instigate some changes. In addition, there is
some question about how effective the RMAC at times. A potential new appointment process for Arts
Commissioners could be adopted whereby they would be expected to express their interest in
continuing to serve and demonstrate their involvement in RMAC events and projects in the
community.

Summary of Current Resources
• The remaining balance of$2,309 in the 2017 budget will be requested to be carried over to
2018.

$50,000 for Arts & Culture Projects.
Arts & Culture Master Plan
• Chip Vincent addressed the need to replace the City's Arts and Culture Master Plan created in
2010. The recommendation is to create a new plan and not attempt to revise the existing plan.
