Renton Case#26-4199
Unless otherwise noted,the following occurred in the City of Renton, County of King, WA.
On 05-31-2026 at approximately 1529 hours I was dispatched to a hit and run collision near 222 Williams Ave
S. Dispatch advised 1 minute prior someone hit the reporting party's vehicle and was gone from the location.
The suspect vehicle was a gray Toyota Rav4 SUV with damage to the front and drove north on Williams Ave S
before running the red light at S 2nd St and continuing westbound.
I contacted the RP by phone who identified herself as Leah Y. Bryant (DOB 12-02-1977) and was parked along
the roadway of Williams Ave S in Unit#2 bearing WA/BDS6647. She advised she opened her driver's side rear
door and was grabbing something out of the back seat.As she was inside her vehicle a subject driving a gray
Toyota Rav4 with a handicap placard and yellow sticker in the window struck the door, breaking it forward and
partially off the hinges.The subject then continued driving quickly northbound on Williams Ave S and ran the
red light at S 2nd St.They then continued westbound on S 2nd St.
I provided Leah with Renton Case#26-4199. 1 asked for photos of the vehicle but have not yet received them.
Upon receiving the photographs, I will upload them to evidence.com under Renton Case#4199 and complete
a supplemental report.
Unit#1 (SUSPECT) committed one (1) count of Hit-and-Run—Attended by being involved in an accident with
another vehicle, which is attended, and failing to stop and remain at the scene until fulfilling all statutory
duties (provide name, address, insurance company, policy,vehicle license, exhibit driver's license and render
reasonable assistance to any person injured).
This concludes my involvement with case#26-4199.
