STAFF COMMENTS DCAO Rowland thanked Commissioner Imaoka for accepting the Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander Month proclamation at yesterday's council meeting. She also shared that we will be conducting an orientation for our new commissioners on May 26. DCAO Rowland also shared an update on upcoming events for World Cup and the grand opening of Legacy Square, Renton Market, and Piazza Park on June 6. She also updated the commission on the status of ALPR cameras discussed at last month's meeting—their use is currently paused. Lastly,the commission was asked if they would like to participate in the Renton River Days parade with the Mayor's Inclusion Task Force and confirmed their interest. 4.
