On 06/06/2026 at 1747 hours, I was dispatched to a hit and run located at Logan Ave N &S Tillicum ST,
within the City of Renton, County of King,Washington.
Dispatch advised a white Toyota Highlander WA-CBV7916 was struck by another vehicle who had fled
the scene.
Upon arrival I was informed by dispatch that Unit#2 is blocking the northbound lane.As I approached the
scene, I noticed Unit#2 had damage to the front left of her vehicle. I confirmed that there were no injuries
and that the vehicle was still able to operate. I had unit#2 relocated the vehicle on Logan Ave S and S
Tobin ST.
Unit#1 fled the scene after colliding with unit#2.There were no descriptions of the driver, but the vehicle
color was white.
Unit#2 was identified as Firehiwot Teshome Mulugeta (DOB: 04-16-1986,verified by WADL),they were
driving a Toyota Highlander WA-CBV7916.
Mulugeta advised she was traveling eastbound on Airport way in lane#1. Mulugeta noticed unit#1
coming from the opposite direction (westbound). Mulugeta said once unit#1 passed her vehicle,
unit#1 started to go into reverse.While in reverse unit#1 tried completing a U-turn but contacted
its back bumper to the front left drivers' side of Mulugeta vehicle. Mulugeta advised after unit#1
hit her vehicle,the unknow subject stopped,waved and drove off.
Mulugeta said Unit#1 had fled westbound on Airport Way. Mulugeta couldn't get a good
description of the driver but said the vehicle was white.There were no witnesses, but a civilian
named Dawson stopped to help Mulugeta.
I observed that Unit#2 had damage to the front driver side bumper and to the driver's side door.
Pictures were taken and uploaded to Axon.
No observed or reported injuries.
No known surveillance footage.
This incident occurred in the sCity of Renton,King County,Washington State.
