On 06-10-2026 at approximately 1827 hours I was dispatched to SW 41st St/E Valley Rd in the City of
Renton, County of King, State of Washington to a hit and run report which was to be handled by
phone. The boyfriend of an involved driver was calling to report the collision. It occurred 13 minutes
prior and the suspect vehicle was described as a 2002-2008 silver sedan (unknown license plate) with
heavy damage to the driver side door. The suspect vehicle was last seen south bound on SR167.
I contacted the driver, verbally identified as Elizabeth A. Peters (DOB 12-27-1998), by phone. She
advised the collision happened at approximately 1805 hours. She was in unit#2 going south bound in
the 4100 block of E Valley Rd. She turned into the center turn lane getting ready to turn left when
unit#1 exited from Chopsticks Teriyaki attempting to turn left into the north bound lanes. Elizabeth
said she struck unit#1 in the center turn lane. She said she stopped and got out of her vehicle and
unit#1 proceeded to drive off without exchanging information or checking on her well-being. Unit#1
was last seen heading north bound to SW 41st St and turning onto south bound SR167. She advised
she sustained a cracked bumper; paint transfer and fluids were leaking from her vehicle. Unit#1
sustained damage to the driver's door.
Elizabeth was not injured.
Elizabeth described unit#1 as a 2006 or older silver Hyundai Sonata (unknown plate). She described
the driver as a white male, 50's-60's, with possibly white hair. She advised she could possibly
recognize the driver if she saw him again.
Elizabeth advised she would assist with prosecution.
