Water treatment update – Sampled Thursday, 6/11
Dewatering well update – Potential shut down for the weekend (Adam)
Eric – Does shutting down the dewatering wells over the weekend interfere with excavation for the following week?
Adam – When sewer starts dewatering wells will likely run 24/7 to avoid draw down period. Storm is ok with shutting off because the excavation is not as deep.
Alyssa – If wells are running through the weekend, daily monitoring will be required.
Contaminated soil update – Cameron – Characterization received, may have a couple areas above cleanup levels, WA Rock is reviewing results and will confirm what can be received, any
contamination that can’t be taken will go to Republic Services. Elevated zinc in trench excavation at 204-23 sampled last week. Results have been sent to Greg, Joey and Ross. One
new location at 202-80, have the excavation and sidewalls been sampled? Eric to work with Shimmick to sort these items out.
Cameron – Ross needs to sign last of paperwork for Republic Services profile. Can Alyssa review and confirm with Ross the final signature required?
Eric – New bill of lading causing questions about signing final paperwork.
Tire washing update – Sump and berm installed, tank delivered, pipe and fittings being installed.
Setup sewer discharge system and schedule inspection with KCIW – Planning to schedule next week sometime, Adam to check on status of flow meter. City of Renton will be invited to attend
inspection.
Send Maria a schematic of hand washing equipment leaving site. – ASHLEY, copy Alyssa Jacobs.
Upcoming Schedule.
On site work – 30” storm ongoing through next week. Sewer work start next week from middle of site to the North. South side work still being worked out with fiber line. Retaining
wall footing excavation happening. Surface demo asphalt and concrete removal. Next few weeks, working on getting DeWitt started.
ROW work – NuCo mobilizing to remove some of the light poles along Grady. Grady sidewalk closure scheduled around World Cup moratorium.
Lake Ave CCTV – Nasty material in storm pipe.
New Business
Alyssa – How did the site hold up with the rain?
Adam – Site handled well, not much work going on because of the rain, everything pumped to treatment system, no issues of water leaving the berms.
Alyssa – 6/19 is a Sound Transit holiday, site will still be open.
