SCOPE
Exhibit A-1
The intent of this amendment is to increase mural coverage to transform the
entire wall into a cohesive public artwork and maximize visual impact,
placemaking, and long-term graffiti deterrence at the Highlands
Neighborhood Center.
Highlands Neighborhood Center Mural Expansion
The Artist shall expand the approved mural design for the Highlands
Neighborhood Center to increase coverage and extend the artwork to the full
available width and height of the designated building wall.
Work shall include:
•Revision and expansion of the existing approved mural concept to create
a cohesive composition that fills the full mural surface area.
•Extension of existing design themes, colors, visual elements, and
movement throughout the expanded mural area while maintaining
consistency with the originally approved concept.
•Adjustment of scale, placement, and composition to ensure the mural is
visually balanced across the enlarged wall surface.
•Incorporation of additional background, environmental, and/or artistic
elements as needed to fully activate the expanded space and avoid large
unpainted areas.
•Preparation and submission of revised design renderings for City review
and approval prior to installation.
•Fabrication, surface preparation, materials, equipment, labor, and
installation required to complete the expanded mural.

8 ft (640 sq. ft.). The revised scope expands the mural to approximately 80 ft x 22 ft (1,760 sq.
ft.), extending the artwork to fill the full wall at the Highlands Neighborhood Center.
Acorn Murals’ pricing is based on surface texture, height accessibility, and design complexity,
with mural pricing ranging from $25–$45 per square foot plus tax. Pricing includes
