Unit 1 was in the right#1 lane of northbound Main AVE S at Houser Way S. Unit 2 was in the lane
to the left, #2 lane, also northbound on Main AVE S at Houser Way S. Unit 1 was in a right turn
only lane onto northbound Houser Way S. Unit 2 was in a right turn or straight lane, intending to
turn right onto northbound Houser Way S. As the Units made the turn, Unit 1 failed to maintain
its lane and drifted left. The driver's side of Unit 1 struck the passenger side of Unit 2. Unit 2
sustained minor but noticeable damage.
Driver 1 failed to stop and continued as Unit 2 attempted to follow to get them to stop. Driver 1
waived twice acknowledging this attempt but failed to stop and got on southbound 1405. Driver
2 describes Driver 1 as a Hispanic male, late 20's to early 30's, mustache,tall, and a heavy
build. Driver 2 was unable to see a plate on Unit 1 as it was "blacked out".
Driver 1 and Unit 1 are unidentified with no means to identify. This case will be closed RTF.
This incident occurred in the sCity of Renton,King County,Washington State.
