ROLL CALL Commissioners present: Cassandra Baddeley Manami Imaoka Camila Lagow Dominic Williams Matthew Woolcott Commissioners attending virtually: Jayne Ahrens Commissioners absent: Ali Cohen Daniel Helmer Hemant Tanwar Staff present: Kristi Rowland, Deputy Chief Administrative Officer Hannah Miller, ESD Administrative Assistant Patrice Kent, Senior Assistant City Attorney Armondo Pavone, Mayor Jon Schuldt, Chief of Police Ryan Rutledge, Deputy Chief of Police Eric Perry, Government Affairs Manager 3. MAYOR COMMENTS Mayor Pavone shared updates on the opening of Legacy Square and funding awarded for the new parking garage. He also discussed work around behavioral health and with the school district. The group also discussed communication channels with the community and with council. 4. STAFF COMMENTS 5. AUDIENCE COMMENT Those wishing to address the Equity Commission will be called upon. Each speaker is allowed three (3) minutes. 6. CONSENT AGENDA a. Approval of May 12, 2026, meeting minutes Hannah Miller, ESD Administrative Assistant 7. UNFINISHED BUSINESS a. ALPR Cameras Jon Schuldt, Chief of Police Ryan Rutledge, Deputy Chief of Police MOVED BY WILLIAMS, SECONDED BY BADDELEY TO ADVISE THE COUNCIL OF THE COMMISSION’S SUPPORT OF THE USE OF ALPR CAMERAS. CARRIED. 8. NEW BUSINESS a. 2026 Washington Legislative Session Review Eric Perry, Government Affairs Manager This item will be moved to the next meeting. 9. COMMITTEE MEMBER COMMENTS 10. COMMITTEE CHAIR COMMENTS 11. ADJOURNMENT MOVED BY LAGOW, SECONDED BY WOOLCOTT TO ADJOURN THE MEETING. CARRIED.
