Narrative
Unless otherwise noted, all events took place in the City of Renton, in the County of King, in the State of
Washington.
This incident was captured on my body worn video camera and in-car cameras.This report is a summary of
events that occurred and is not an exact sequencing of events.
On 6/22/2026, at approximately 1800 hours I was dispatched to a report of a collision at S Puget Dr and
Benson DR S. Dispatch advised 2 MVA...NI...NB...OTHER HALF INITIALLY TRIED TO FLEE...RP AND OTHER HALF
BOTH NOW AT SE 172ND ST/116TH AVE SE.
At approximately 1807 hours I arrived on scene. I contacted both parties and confirmed there were no
injuries. I observed Unit 1 with minor damage to the front driver side fender. Unit 2 had minor damage to the
passenger side doors.
The driver of Unit 1 advised the following. She was driving southbound on Talbot Rd S approaching S Puget Dr
and got into the left turn lane (3 of 4). Unit 2 was in the inside turn lane (4 of 4). As she was preparing to turn
left on S Puget Dr, a car cuts her off forcing her to swerve into the inside turn lane. She struck the passenger
side of Unit 2 with the front driver side fender of Unit 1.Airbags did not deploy.
The driver of Unit 2 advised the following. He was driving southbound on Talbot Rd S approaching S Puget Dr
and got into the inside left turn lane (4 of 4). Unit 1 was in the outer turn lane (3 of 4).A car cuts Unit 1 off,
forcing it to swerve into the inside turn lane. Unit 1 struck the passenger side of Unit 2 with the front driver
side fender of Unit 1.Airbags did not deploy
