Axon: Axon car and body cam video available Documents: Sector Infraction #6A0001193 issued to Dixson for Inattention via the court. Narrative: On 06.21.2026 at 2334 hours, I was dispatched to a possible injury collision that occurred at 2328 hours at 639 Ferndale AVE NE. This address is within the city limits of Renton, County of King, WA. This is a residential street. When I arrived, I found a blue 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander WA/CUD1123 was heading eastbound on Ferndale AVE NE. This vehicle crossed from the eastbound lane (south side of the street) to the westbound lane (north side of the street) and hit a parked white 2007 Lexus IS 4DR sedan WA/CSK4509. There were numerous people standing around including a woman standing near the front passenger door of the Highlander. The airbags in the Toyota Highlander were deployed, and I asked Renton Fire to respond for precautionary reasons. There were no injuries reported in this collision. I advised everyone around that they were being audio and visually recorded. I spoke to Jose D Campos Lopez DOB/07.10.2005. Campos Lopez is the registered owner of the white 2007 Lexus. This car was legally parked, unoccupied on the north side of the street facing west. Campos Lopez, his friends and family, were woken up to the sound of a crash and came outside. Campos provided his WAID card and his registration. He does not have insurance (but the car was unoccupied and legally parked.) I spoke to Salama M Dixson DOB/12.04.1965. Dixson was identified by her photo WADL. Dixson provided proof of insurance but did not have her registration. Her DOL status is licensed. Dixson claimed that the vehicle shook and that is why she hit the parked car on the wrong side of the street. I find that odd as it is a 2025 vehicle. Damage to Dixson's vehicle was from the front bumper into the driver's front tire area. Damage to Campos Lopez's car was from the front bumper into the driver's front door area. Dixson was insistent that she wanted to drive the car home despite the airbags being deployed. I asked Renton Fire to cut the airbags so she would be able to see. Dixson tried to drive the car, but it would not start. I called for a tow on her behalf, and the tow company was Gene Meyer. But not for the actions of Dixson, she would not have hit the unoccupied parked car belonging to Campos Lopez. I told Dixson that I would be issuing her a ticket that would come in the mail. I issued Sector Infraction #6A0001193 to Dixson for Inattention with a request that it be mailed by the court. This incident occurred in the City of Renton, King County, Washington unless otherwise specifically noted. During this incident I was equipped with body-worn camera which records both audio and video. Portions of the incident were recorded. During this incident I was wearing a department issued uniform jump suit was marked with "Police" both on the back, and department patches on each shoulder of the jumpsuit, as well as a Renton Police Velcro badge on my left chest. It would be immediately obvious to any reasonable person that I was a Police Officer.
