The project will remove the islands at the intersections of S Grady Way with Lake Ave S and Shattuck Ave S, to allow for a continuous eastbound lane from Rainier Ave S to Talbot Rd S. Included are modifications to the traffic signal, new pedestrian crossings and channelization. The improvements will add much needed capacity to the S Grady Way corridor. Project is pending future grant funding availability.
