EG59576 CASE# 25-80668 FC LNaoy L isI©�ON O 12/13/25 17:05 F cu NARRATIVE 25-80668 Unless otherwise stated, the following occurred in the City of Renton, County of King, State of Washington. On 12-13-2025 at approximately 1753 hours I was dispatched to a non-injury, blocking, two vehicle collision that occurred on SE 174th ST just west of 108th AVE SE. Upon arrival, I contacted the involved parties and determined that no one was complaining of injuries and all declined to be evaluated by the Renton Regional Fire Authority (RRFA). While on scene, I collected the involved parties driving documents and their independent recollection of events leading up to the collision. The driver of Unit#1 said she was traveling westbound on SE 174th ST from 108th AVE SE. She put her driver side blinker on and prepared to turn southbound into the McDonalds parking lot located at 10715 SE 174th ST. As she started to make her left turn, she noticed Unit#2 traveling eastbound on SE 174th ST and the vehicles collided. Unit#1 was unable to stop in time because she had already committed to turning. Unit#1 sustained damage to the front driver side of the vehicle. The driver of Unit#2 said he was traveling eastbound on SE 174th ST and was just about to pass the McDonalds parking lot entrance on the south side of SE 174th ST when Unit#1 took a left-hand turn and collided into him. Unit#2 sustained damage to the front driver side. When he attempted to move his vehicle off the roadway, he was unable to. Gene Meyer towing responded and realized if the bumper was pulled off the vehicle, the vehicle would be operable. The driver of Unit#2 was operating under his business, Caring Hands Transportation. He had two passengers secured in wheelchairs in his van and a front passenger. I find Unit#1 to be the proximate cause of the collision by violating RCW 46.61.185.1 vehicle turning left. The RCW states, "(1) The driver of a vehicle intending to turn to the left within an intersection or into an alley, private road, or driveway shall yield the right-of-way to any vehicle approaching from the opposite direction which is within the intersection or so close thereto as to constitute an immediate hazard." The driver of Unit#1 violated this when they attempted to make a left turn into a private driveway and failed to yield to Unit#2 who had the right of way. 1 did not cite the driver of Unit#1. An exchange of information was provided to all parties. Both vehicles were able to drive away from the scene. I uploaded photos of the collision to Axon.
