EH 18912 CASE# 26-4351 OF LNa 06/05/26 11:15 F coy�isI©�ON u NARRATIVE 26-4351 ACC On 6/5/2026 1 was working as a uniformed patrol officer and driving a marked patrol vehicle for the City of Renton. I was dispatched to a report of a two-vehicle, blocking collision in the intersection of NE 7th St and Harrington Ave NE Renton/King/WA. The caller was not reporting any injuries. I arrived on scene and located both vehicles still in the intersection, I confirmed there was no injury with both drivers, and both vehicles were able to be moved out of the roadway. The driver of the 2017 BMW 540 WA/CNZ4197 (Unit 1) was identified by his WADL as Marcus S Milroe DOB: 11/21/1998. Marcus said that he was driving west on NE 7th St, he stopped at the stop sign and saw Unit 2 stop at the other stop sign. He said that he looked down and then entered the intersection, he said that as he got into the intersection, he realized that Unit 2 was also in the intersection and hit his brakes. He said that he was not able to avoid the collision and struck Unit 2. There was damage to the front bumper of the BMW, it was drivable and did not require a tow. The driver of the 2013 Volkswagen Passat WA/BDS4774 (Unit 2) was identified by his WADL as Jose H Viezca Rico DOB: 2/6/1988. Jose said that he works at a mechanic shop and is not the owner of the vehicle, he explained that he was taking the car for a test drive at the time of the collision. Jose said that he was going north on Harrington Ave NE. He stopped at the stop with NE 7th St and saw Unit 1 stop as well. He then proceeded through the intersection and was struck by Unit 1. There was damage to the front passenger side quarter panel and door. The side airbag had deployed, and the vehicle was still drivable and did not require a tow. Nothing further.
