Officer Narrative
Narrative
On 07-08-2026 at 1408 hours I was dispatched to a traffic accident at SW 7th St and Shattuck Ave S in the city
of Renton, King County WA. I arrived on scene and located the vehicles. Unit 1 was a white Honda Accord
driven by Marysa Bennett. Unit 1 was damaged on the driver's side front fender.
Unit 2 was a Jeep Compass.The Compass was driven by Caroline Nganga.The Compass had damage to the
passenger side.
Both driver's were identified by there WA driver's license photos.
Nganga told me the following: She was traveling east on S 7th Street and was attempting to continue past
Shattuck Ave S when unit 1 changed lanes into her.
Marysa told me we was driving east on S 7th St and changed lanes from the right turn lane into the center
lane. At the same time unit 2 changed lanes from the center lane to her lane.
When Nganga left the scene she continued east on S 7th St like she stated she was trying to do before the
collision.
Based on the information above I believe Marysa changed lanes and collided with unit 2. 1 assisted the drivers
with an info swap and gave them the case number.
