Environmental Weekly Meeting Minutes

Chemical Usage Document – Add column to measure chemical used on daily sheet, see how it goes.

Water treatment update – Sampled Wednesday, 7/8
Dewatering well update – Firefighting water from a fire on Northern property flooded the site sometime on 7/8 and/or 7/9. The dewatering wells and sumps have been turned off due to
unknown potential contamination into the site.
Contaminated soil update – Cameron – Sampling suspected contaminated piles and all piles before leaving site. Email will summarize which piles are above cleanup level.
Tire washing update – Ongoing
Setup sewer discharge system and schedule inspection with KCIW – Approved as of Tuesday 7/7. SMRs are due by the 15th of every month.
Send Maria a schematic of hand washing equipment leaving site. – Email approval from Maria received. Ashley to send to Shimmick.
Alyssa – Add to correspondence appendix to SWPPP.
Dewitt equipment – Plastic and containment replaced under leaking equipment, mechanic on site today making repairs.
Upcoming Schedule.
On site work – Sewer and Northern area paused until getting through fire issues. Working around that area for now and avoiding deeper excavations because the dewatering wells are turned
off.
Fire water update – testing raw fire water pumped into settling tank, and then need to sample the soil impacted. Need to have a follow up meeting to get a plan in place. Jaylen to
schedule meeting maybe Monday?
ROW work – Grady work starting week of 7/20. Install CB inserts when traffic control is setup.
New Business
Alyssa – Include Alyssa and Eric on any emails sent to Ecology, City of Renton, or King County related to the project.
