Narrative
On 7/13/2026 at about 1407 hours I was dispatched to a vehicle vs roadway hazard collision that occured at the
intersection of SE Petrovitsky Rd and 108th Ave SE., Renton, Wa. The driver of Unit 2 advised that as she was
driving west on SE Petrovtisky Rd something fell out from under the bottom of Unit 1, which was directly in front
of her, also heading west. The item went under Unit 2, causing a loud noise. The engine then started to shutter
and smoke, so she pulled over and called 911. It did not apear that the driver of Unit 1 was aware something fell
out of their vehicle.
On 7/14/2026 Unit 2 driver sent me a dashcamera video of the incident. The video shows what appears to be a
trailer hitch disconnect from Unit 1 and then strike Unit 2. This video has been uploaded to Evidence.com.
This incident occurred in the sCity of Renton,King County,Washington State.
