On 7/16/2026 1 was working as a uniformed patrol officer and driving a marked patrol vehicle for
the City of Renton. I was dispatched to a phone report of a hit and run that had occurred prior in
the parking lot of 17313 120th Ln SE Renton/King/WA. Deborah H Simmons DOB: 8/16/1968 was
calling to report that someone had struck her parked 2014 BMW Z4 WA/AYH3749.
I called Deborah and she explained that sometime between 7/14/2026 at 1900 hours and
7/15/2026 at 1830 hours someone had hit the front bumper of her BMW. She said that the
damage was substantial and was mainly on the driver's side of the bumper. She explained that
her vehicle was backed into her assigned parking space under a carport.
Deborah did not have any suspect vehicle or driver description and said there was no
surveillance in the area.
Deborah did wish to press charges for hit and run if the other driver was identified.
Nothing further.
