Environmental Weekly Meeting Minutes

Submittals
Quarterly update for SWPPP and TESC, due July.

Water treatment update
6/18 copper exceedance at 9.3 ug/L
7/7 copper exceedance at 8.5 ug/L
pH needs to be raised from 6.5 to around 8.0 to get better treatment with P50, Sodium Bicarbonate will be used to do this. Shimmick will also be lowering the flow rate from 250 GPM
down to 200 GPM through the GAC filters.
Dewatering well update – Wells are currently off until further notice.
More environmental involvement in subcontracting work coming up.
Contaminated soil update – Berming and delineating suspected piles and following the contract and plans.
Fire fighting water update
Raw water in the sewer tank analytical results sent to KCIW and Sound Transit.
Soil sampling results are complete from Shannon and Wilson.
Upcoming Schedule.
On site work – doing minimal work since wells are off, working on storm and “mystery slab”.
ROW work – Grady sidewalk work starting week of 7/20. Rainier lane closure on 7/21, install CB inserts.
ROW work happening during the day.
