EH23116 CASE# 26-5740 OF COLLISION 07/22/26 21:33 OF CbLLI510N NARRATIVE 26-5739 DUI and non-injury collision 26-5740 Hit and Run Collision Axon: Axon cam video available * Note: Some video may be under 26-5739 and some under 26-5740 Photos: Photos uploaded to Axon Evidence.com See also photos by Sergeant Tibeau from case 26-5739 for suspect vehicle photos Documents: Sector Collision Sector Citation #6A0001195 Hit and Run unattended for TZIQUIN IXTOS, JOSE for case 26- 5740 Sector Infraction #6A0001196 No valid operator's license with ID and operating a motor vehicle without liability insurance for case 26-5740 Narrative: 26-5739 On 07.22.2026 at 2146 hours, there was a 911 call regarding a collision at NE Sunset Blvd and Union AVE NE involving a white Honda Pickup WA/A9493252 and a Gray Toyota pickup WA/D64235D. The caller to 911 reported that the driver of the Gray Toyota pickup smelled of alcohol and was not providing insurance. Both vehicles pulled into the parking lot at 4033 NE Sunset Blvd. This address is within the city limits of Renton, County of King, WA. On our way to this call, we were advised of a hit and run nearby to a parked vehicle at 812 Kirkland AVE NE. I arrived at 2156 hours. Officer Atchison arrived just prior to me. Sergeant Tibeau was already on location speaking with the driver and occupants of the White Honda Pickup. Officer Atchison spoke with the driver of the Toyota Pickup. The Toyota truck is registered and legally owned by Tziquin Ixtos, Jose. Officer Atchison used language line for Spanish to speak to the driver who was standing outside his truck. The driver was later identified by photo WAID as Tziquin Ixtos, Jose DOB/12.25.1994. He was asked for his ID and looked through his wallet which he found in his right front pants pocket. When he didn't locate the ID there, he put his hand in his front left pocket and found his WAID. Tziquin Ixtos had bloodshot, watery eyes. Although his skin is olive, his cheeks appeared red. Officer Atchison handed me the ID, and I ran Tziquin Ixtos via radio. He was clear with DOL status of ID only. The photo on the ID matched the person Officer Atchison was speaking with. See Officer Atchison's report regarding the DUI. Tziquin Ixtos did not have insurance. Officer Atchison placed Tziquin Ixtos in custody for Driving White Under the Influence of Alcohol and/or drugs (DUI). During the investigation, Sergeant Tibeau photographed the damage to the suspect vehicle. In case 26-5739 involving the white Honda, impact was on the front driver's side bumper. But there was also damage on the front passenger side front quarter panel. Sergeant Tibeau was able to pull a piece of a vehicle from between the rim and the tire of the front right tire on Tziquin Ixtos' vehicle. Sergeant Tibeau later told me that he called the victim of the "hit and run" on the way to this collision to find out what color his vehicle was. It was a silver Honda Civic. The damage on the right front bumper could be consistent with hitting a parked car. The height of the rim where the piece of car was found is PAGE 3 OF 5 REPORT NO. See Sergeant Tibeau's sector collision 26- 5739 for more information about that collision. 26-5740 1 took the piece of the car and responded to the Hit and Run at 812 Kirkland AVE NE. This address is within the city limits of Renton, County of King, WA. Legally parked on the east side of the street, facing north at 812 Kirkland AVE NE was a Silver 2006 Honda Civic 4DR WA/CFX4614 VIN/ 2HGES26755H552369 that is registered and legally owned by Micah D Corpuz. I took the piece of car found on Tziquin Ixtos's truck rim and was able to match it up to the rear driver's side wheel fender. This fender also happens to be 22" high. There is corresponding damage to the rear bumper/trunk area of Corpuz' Honda' that is 32'-32" high that is consistent with the front driver's side bumper of Tziquin Ixtos's truck. Based on the fact that the piece of vehicle found in the rim of Tziquin Ixtos' vehicle was an exact match to the bumper of Corpuz' vehicle, it was clear Tziquin Ixtos was responsible for hit and run. I contacted Micah D Corpuz DOB/08.26.2006. Corpuz was identified by photo WADL. Corpuz told me that at about 2133 hours, he was inside when he heard a collision outside of his house. He came outside and found that his car (a silver 2006 Honda Civic WA/CFX4614) was hit while it was parked unoccupied in front of his house. There was new damage to his driver's side rear bumper, rear quarter panel and rear driver's wheel well. Corpuz did not see the collision. Corpuz rents the house and will contact the property owner to see if the incident was captured on video. Corpuz provided his registration and proof of insurance with Safeco #5429287-A20-47. I photographed the damage to Corpuz' vehicle and provided him with an exchange of information with Tziquin Ixtos' information. I took an exchange of information to Officer Atchison who was with Tziquin Ixtos in the BAC room. Officer Atchison advised me that he would medically clear Tziquin Ixtos and book him into SCORE. I told him that I would send Score a citation for hit and run in my case. Sector Citation #6A0001195 for Hit and Run Unattended for Tziquin Ixtos was emailed to SCORE to be included in his booking. Sector Infraction #6A0001196 for No valid Operator's license with valid ID and operating a motor vehicle without liability insurance will be mailed to Tziquin Ixtos by the court. This incident occurred in the City of Renton, King County, Washington unless otherwise specifically noted. During this incident I was equipped with body-worn camera which records both audio and video. Portions of the incident were recorded. This report is merely a summary of the incident and is not intended to be an exact transcription of the entire investigation or what may have been captured with the recording system. During this incident I was wearing a department issued uniform jump suit was marked with "Police" both on the back, and department patches on each shoulder of the jumpsuit, as well as a Renton Police Velcro badge on my left chest. It would be immediately obvious to any reasonable person that I was a Police Officer.
